SushiDon Murray

A Life Built By Hand

40+ years of craft, from the water to the sushi station.

Behind the station

Not a brand made up in a meeting.

SushiDon is the name people already know. A local chef, a familiar smile, and the guy behind a lot of South Jersey memories.

His story

A Life Built By Hand

A younger Don holding a large striped bass
Before the sushi bar, there was the water.

Before people knew him as SushiDon, Don spent a lifetime working with his hands — on the water, in kitchens, in casinos, in homes, and behind the sushi station.

From fishing to fine dining, from handyman work to rolling sushi, his story has always been about craft, grit, and showing up for people.

Family & Legacy

Before the sushi station, there was family.

The people around Don shaped the man he became — his parents, his kids, his grandkids, and the memories that never leave.

Some faces are still here. Some are deeply missed. All of them are part of the story.
